Privacy policy

This site collects only what you choose to send me through a form, plus a few cookies that help me understand visits. I never sell your information. Email [email protected] to see, correct, or delete what I have. Effective October 18, 2026.

Who I am

This site is run by Ashlei Rolloff, LLC, a Minnesota company that also does business as Nerd Herd. In this policy, "I" and "me" mean Ashlei Rolloff, LLC. Questions go to [email protected].

What you send me through forms

Contact form: your name, email, the reason you're reaching out, and your message. I use it to reply to you.

Find Your Lane: your first name and email. I use it to send you the exercise and an email with a copy, and to add you to my contact list as a lead. I may also send you occasional emails about related resources and programs, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Bootcamp registration: your name, email, and billing details, collected through the HubSpot checkout. I use them to confirm your seat and send you dates, materials, and recordings. If you joined an earlier bootcamp waitlist, I use what you shared to send you bootcamp dates and details. Other marketing emails go out only if you agree to them.

Podcast pitch: your name, email, phone, company, website, LinkedIn, mailing address, how you heard about the show, your pitch and topics, links to past talks, a headshot link, and any notes. I use it to review your pitch. If you're booked, I use your name, bio, and headshot to promote your episode, and I don't publish your contact details.

What's collected automatically

After you first scroll, tap, or type on a page, the site loads HubSpot's tracking script. It sets cookies (hubspotutk, __hstc, __hssc, and __hssrc) that count visits, recognize a returning browser, and connect a form you send to the pages you viewed. You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings, and the site still works.

Cloudflare, which hosts and protects the site, processes your IP address and basic request details to deliver pages and stop attacks.

I don't use advertising cookies on this site.

Categories at a glance

Across the site, I process four kinds of personal information: contact details (name, email, phone, mailing address), professional details (company, job title, website, LinkedIn), what you write to me (messages, goals, pitches), and device and visit data (IP address, browser, pages viewed, cookie identifiers). I don't collect sensitive information such as health, financial, or precise location data. Your information is stored in the United States.

Who receives your information

HubSpot stores form submissions and sends the emails you asked for. Cloudflare hosts the site. Microsoft 365 handles my email when you write to me. Each one processes information for me under its own privacy terms.

When you press play on the podcast sample, the audio streams from Spotify for Creators (anchor.fm), which sees your IP address. Links to Apple Podcasts, Spotify, iHeart, LinkedIn, and Instagram take you to sites with their own policies.

I don't sell or rent your information, and I share it with no one else unless the law requires it.

Do Not Track and privacy signals

There is no common standard for Do Not Track browser signals, so the site doesn't change how it works when it receives one. I don't sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, I treat it as a request not to sell or share your information, which I already don't do.

Emails from me

Every marketing email I send includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops marketing emails right away. I may still reply to a message you sent me.

How long I keep it

I keep your information while we're in touch and for as long as I need it for the reason you gave it to me. Ask, and I'll delete it.

Your choices and rights

Email [email protected] to confirm whether I have information about you, get a copy of it, correct it, delete it, or get the list of the specific companies I've shared it with. I'll confirm your identity, usually by replying to the email address I have on file, before I act on a request.

I'll respond within 45 days. If I need more time, I'll tell you why and take up to 45 more days. Depending on where you live, your state's privacy law may give you more rights, and I'll honor them.

If I decline a request, you can appeal by replying with "Appeal" in the subject line. I'll respond to an appeal within 45 days and explain my decision. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Minnesota Attorney General's Office at ag.state.mn.us.

Children

This site is for adults in business. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child sent me information, email me and I'll delete it.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS with strict security headers, and form data goes straight to HubSpot over an encrypted connection. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send passwords, payment details, or health information through a form.

Changes

If this policy changes, I'll update it here and change the effective date at the top. If a change affects how I use information you've already given me, I'll email you before it takes effect.
